Affordable Rental Housing

How Our Affordable Rental Program Works

Find A Way Home owns 5 affordable housing rental units  in the Roswell, Georgia, area that are rented to families in the 50-80% median income range, as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Monthly rent is based upon HUD’s income-contingent sliding scale.

Clients are accepted into our affordable rental program for a period of 18-24 months.  The ultimate goal is for the client to qualify for a home mortgage or move into market-rate rent at the end of that period.

Through federally-funded Community Development Block Grants, we have been able to make numerous improvements to our properties, including new HVAC systems, low-flush toilets, blown-in attic insulation, crawl space encapsulation and new windows and doors.  These projects have increased the homes’ energy efficiency, which in turn has resulted in lower energy costs for our client families!
