Mentoring

Each Find A Way Home client family is paired with a volunteer mentor.  The mentor works with their assigned client family to help them put into practice the lessons they learn in their financial literacy workshop.  The mentor also helps the family address the specific financial obstacles that are preventing them from reaching complete self-sufficiency.  Mentors and clients develop a close relationship, often staying in touch even after the client has finished our program.

Interested in Being a Mentor?

We are always looking for dedicated community volunteers to serve as mentors to our hardworking client families. We ask that mentors meet with their assigned family weekly or bi-weekly for the first couple of months, tapering off to once per month as the family progresses through the program.
